Ashley Statter is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in dietetics. As an aspiring registered dietitian, she serves as a Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Student Liaison for the University of Maryland, and is the community outreach chair of the University of Maryland Dietetics Department Food and Nutrition Club. In addition, she has volunteered and shadowed dietitians at Washington Adventist Hospital in Tacoma Park and Children’s Hospital in Washington, D.C., has served as a nutrition coach for the University of Maryland Health Center, and is currently a sport’s nutrition volunteer for the University of Maryland Sports Department. In addition to nutrition, Ashley also enjoys writing and blogs for Thrive Global and the Behavior Health Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group Student Blog.
