NATURAL PRODUCT EXPO EAST

Shaina has been at Fair Trade USA for 3 years, passionately working to improve livelihoods for farmers in our food system. She manages Fair Trade Certification for some of the fastest growing CPG brands, from setting up Fair Trade supply chains to developing brands’ Fair Trade communication strategies. Shaina has an MBA from Presidio Graduate school and a BA in Organizational Development from the University of Michigan. She has been working in food sustainability for 5 years and has worked with sustainable coffee production in Thailand and almond farms in the Central Valley. Prior to tackling the food system, Shaina was elbows deep in the healthcare system as a health and benefits consultant at Mercer. She also teaches Ashtanga Yoga in San Francisco.
